Description
Thymosin Beta-4 (Tβ4) is a naturally occurring peptide found in most tissues and cells, playing a crucial role in cell migration, tissue regeneration, and wound healing. It promotes angiogenesis (the formation of new blood vessels), reduces inflammation, and aids in tissue repair by regulating actin, a protein essential for cell movement. Due to these properties, Tβ4 has been studied for potential therapeutic applications in healing wounds, treating cardiovascular diseases, reducing fibrosis, and even aiding in neurological recovery. However, while research is ongoing, its clinical use remains limited and largely experimental.
